The challenge
Accounting firms run files, ATO-cycle tasks, collections and documents across many tools, and every new client is typed into four places.
What we built
One system for the whole practice: onboarding, ATO-cycle tasks, invoicing and collections, documents, team chat, a client portal, AI extraction of tax returns, BAS, financial statements, bank statements and ASIC extracts, and bank feeds that match each deposit to its invoice.
How the automation works
A client sends a document. The AI reads it, files it and proposes the task and the entry. A person confirms.
What changed
An in-house project, built and tested. Not live for a client today.
Stack
Real code, Postgres, hosted in Sydney, the Claude AI model, Australian open-banking feeds (built, not yet run live).
